Review: Get The Best Nail Care With Essence

Review: Get The Best Nail Care With Essence

Essence probably offers one of the best nail care systems. I’ve been using their nail care products, nail polishes and nail tools for so long. I always love trying out their new products especially when it says “quick and easy” on it 🙂

If you can recall the photo I posted to Instagram not so long ago (view it here) – it was a gorgeous blue Essence Effect polish (I don’t need money, honey!) that I tried out. I was so pleased with the color that transferred to my nails. However, it was the most difficult polish I had to remove! By the time I was done all the skin around my fingers were a bright shade of blue and no amount of nail polish remover was going to get rid of it. Luckily a few hours later and some warm soapy water it was gone but it definitely delayed my next nail polish swatch. What I can say is that my actual nails didn’t stain because I had used a base coat to protect my nails.

With that being said, I can’t stress enough how important it is that you use a base coat especially when painting with bright colors. Not only does it do the obvious like prevent staining but it also ensures the long wear of your polish and strengthens your nails. Essence have launched a lot of new nail care products which I’ve been reviewing and since the launch of these I don’t think I would ever go have my nails done at a salon again because now you can get the exact same quality right from the comfort of your own home. Here they are:

_MG_2959The {NEW} Gel Nail Polish Base Coat And Top Coat:

Easy like nail polish, amazing like gel! It really is that simple. The base coat used together with the top coat ensures the long wear of your manicure up to 60%. I painted my nails a week ago and only now are they starting to show signs of wear and tear.

Both work without the use of an LED or UV lamp and provides high shine and durability. It is also just as easy to remove with any conventional nail polish remover.

Untitled-11The {NEW} Quick & Easy Sponge Nail Caring Oil:

You had me at quick and easy – I like anything that saves time, but does it really work? The sponge inside is infused with almond oil and argan oil. Almond oil is known for nourishing your skin, making it softer and smoother. The oils moisturize your nails and cuticles and leaves behind such a lovely scent. All you need to do it dip your finger in the opening, twist and go. So simple, so quick and your nails will love you for it.

Untitled-1Studio Nails Caring Nail Oil:

I’ve been using this little guy for a while now. It pretty much does the same thing as the Quick & Easy Sponge although you have to apply the oil with the little lipgloss-type wand to your cuticle and massage gently. This works amazingly if you have a little extra time on your hands (pun intended) haha :). It leaves a sweet apricot scent and it also helps to enhance nail growth.
